Tickets for the football games between Hempstead High School and Senior High School on Friday, Sept. 19, will go on sale tomorrow (Friday) morning from 7:30-9 a.m. and then from 1 p.m. through game time at the main ticket booth at Dalzell Field.

The Dubuque Community School District will officially kick-off Green Dot, the district’s new violence prevention program for middle- and high-school students, at a launch festival from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, at the Dubuque Senior High School Tennis Courts.

The Dubuque Community School District’s annual surplus auction will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, outside the district’s buildings and grounds office at 2300 Chaney Road. The auction, conducted by Hess & Johnston Auction Service, begins at 4 p.m. and is open to the public.
