With almost 1,800 employees and 24 buildings encompassing almost 1.7 million square feet, the Dubuque Community School District runs much like a small city.

While our primary mission is to educate students, that work also includes helping get students to and from school safely, ensuring that students have a healthy meal while in our care, and provide health assistance when necessary.
