How to Enroll for the 2025-2026 School Year
If your household does NOT have an existing student(s) currently enrolled, whether you are new to the district or had a student(s) previously enrolled, please complete these steps.

| 2 | SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS |
The following documents are required for kindergarten enrollment:

| 3 | SUBMIT REQUIRED PAPERWORK |
The following required paperwork must be submitted before the first day of school:
See REQUIRED PAPERWORK for details including ways to submit. Students will NOT be allowed to attend school without an Immunization Certificate on file with the district. The Dental Screening Certificate must be on file within four months of the student starting school. |

Remember that by Iowa Law, students enrolling in kindergarten MUST be five years old on or before September 15 of the school year they wish to enroll.
For the 2025-2026 school year, students must be age 5 on or before September 15, 2025.
Families wishing to have a student attend kindergarten at a school other than their home school may apply for in-district transfer between January 15 and March 1. For more information or to apply on or after January 15, visit www.dbqschools.org/in-district-transfer.
